Toner Face Pads
Ingredients
1.5 tbs Witch Hazel
5 drops of Copaiba essential oil
5 drops of Melaleuca essential oil
5 drops of Frankincense essential oil
5 drops of Lavender essential oil
1 tsp Water
Face Pads
Container (with lid) for Face Pads
You could substitute the Lavender essential oil for Geranium essential oil (both are great oils for skin).
Or you could use Ylang Ylang essential oil if you have oily skin; essential oil if you have dry skin; or Roman Chamomile essential oil if you have dry, irritated and ageing skin.
Method
Place Face Pads in a container (I reused an old container for eye make-up remover pads).
In a small bowl, mix together the Copaiba essential oil, Melaleuca essential oil, Frankincense essential oil and Lavender essential oil.
Add the Witch Hazel and water.
Pour the liquid over the Face Pads and flip them around so that all of the liquid soaks in.
Use as necessary, replacing the lid each time.
The Verdict
Sylvia says:
“They are so easy to make (less that 30 seconds) and are gentle, cooling and leave your face feeling soft and nourished. I would highly recommend them and I have already made a second batch and included 1/4 teaspoon of vitamin E oil. Rina agreed that the Toner Face Pads were super quick and easy to make and that they leave your skin feeling refreshed and smooth. This is one of our favourite recipes yet!”
